About Us
The Ghana Association of South Carolina (GHASOC) was founded to bring together Ghanaians, people of Ghanaian descent, and friends of Ghana living in South Carolina and surrounding communities. The organization was created to provide a strong sense of family, unity, and support for members while preserving and celebrating Ghanaian culture and heritage.
GHASOC aims to promote community engagement through cultural, educational, and social activities that foster understanding and pride in Ghanaian traditions.

GHASOC strives to foster a sense of community among Ghanaians and the broader Black diaspora in South Carolina, Promote Ghanaian culture and heritage, Encourage active participation and engagement in community activities and Support the integration and success of Ghanaians and other members of the diaspora in South Carolina.

Our vision is to create a thriving, inclusive community where the Ghanaian American Association of South Carolina serves as a beacon of unity and cultural celebration.
We aspire to be a leading organization that bridges cultures, fosters mutual respect, and empowers individuals through education, collaboration, and support.
